A Prayer for those who are Weary

Oh Jesus!

Man of Sorrows and suffering Saviour

You empathize with our groaning and weariness

You do not remain far off or look distantly down from below

Jesus wonderful counsellor and saviour

You have borne the scars of a sin stained creation

Comfort us with the Holy Spirit

Cause us to look to you for the hope and promises of the resurrection

We pray this in community and in your name
